almond butter cup
$8 for 17 oz.
formula: our homemade almond milk, raw cacao, agave nectar, ripe banana, homemade almond butter, and a dash of cinnamon. raw (unpasteurized) and unsweetened is an important source of absorable protein. almond milk is simple to make if you have a blendor and a cheese cloth. google it! we did.
chocolate raspberry kiss
$8 for 17 oz.
formula: fragrant raspberry, raw cacao, our delicious homemade hemp milk, soaked raw almonds, agave nectar, and a tad of vanilla. hemp is a fabulous source of easily digested and absorbed protein. i’m not a mathmetician or anything but 50% of your dra of phosphorous and magnesium sounds like a lot to achieve from one smoothie.
fountain of youth
$8 for 17 oz.
formula: a medley of our organic berries: raspberry, strawberry, and blueberry, ripe banana, hemp protein powder, agave nectar, coconut water, and a host of complimentary fruity interests. this is by far our best selling smoothie. so if you’re copying my menu for your little smoothie bar, steal this one! call it: “fountain of yoots”. that’s a funny movie reference. ask ben.
frozone
$8 for 17 oz.
formula: coconut water, unsweetened organic acai berry, ripe banana, strawberry, raw cacao powder, bee pollen, and a pinch of sea salt. caution: bee pollen can cause allergic reaction in some people.
hawaiian healer
$9 for 17 oz.
formula: juicy pineapple, ripe banana, a good amount of ginger, aloe water, fresh mint, and secret spices. this is a really classy smoothie. gourmet i might add. i want everyone to stop fearing raw agave nectar. it’s no worse or no better than other whole food concentrated sweetners derrived from fruits or plants. if it’s raw it’s better than organic maple syrup (which is cooked). agave is not an insulin spiker, and despite the west coast hippies hatred of agave, it’s not bad used in moderation. the best sweetners are not porcessed in any way, such as whole apples and dates. it’s not really commercially viable or univerally yummy to use stevia, yakon syrup, xylitol, etc. very hippie stuff doesn’t sell. try subbing agave with a date or two if you’re avoiding the agave thing.
heaven on earth
$8 for 17 oz.
formula: a clever mixture of dates, ripe banana, our delicious homemade almond milk, organic rice protein powder, raw cacao, homemade almond butter, and cinnamon. i don’t mind the rice protein thing in moderation. 95% of people i know who use it don’t complain of bloating or feeling like a gas can. protein in general is highly misunderstood. our culture is victimized by idiots who profit from selling foods that make people feel good shorterm, such as concentrations of protein. protein hunting has become a problem in our culture not a solution. vegetation in its raw form is the prime source of protein with the least negative impact on the body. a diet of raw fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and sprouts has all of the protein your body needs. mistakes people make in other area of their life style may impede feeling strength and energy- never the lack of protein.
chocolate snap
$7.50 for 17 oz.
formula: homemade brazil nut milk, raw cacao powder, maca powder, agave nectar, and a small amount of ice. maca is a peruvian root that grows at 15,000 feet asl ( above sea leavel). if you were a pilot or in skydiving for a number of years you would have known automatically what asl stood for. msl (mean sea level) is another good one but agl (above ground level) is my favorite. ignoring agl is a killer. worry about agl in free fall not the sunset and the pretty colors of your jumpsuit! if youre cruising at 180mph at 1000feet agl your about 4 seconds from a DOA or KIA!
